Car Coupon in Labuan

In Labuan, car coupons are a type of voucher that allows you to pay for parking in advance. This can be a convenient and cost-effective option for people who need to park their car for an extended period.

Car coupons can be purchased from authorized vendors or from the Labuan Corporation which is the local government authority responsible for managing public parking in the city.

The coupons can then be displayed on your dashboard or rear-view mirror while parked, and the amount of time indicated on the coupon will be deducted from the maximum parking time allowed in the area.

 

In celebration of Federal Territory Day, the Labuan Corporation is offering a promotion package for car coupons. I purchased a package of three books of coupons, which cost an average of RM 3.00 per book, for a total of RM 9.00.

Note that there are two types of car coupons available: RM 0.50 for the first hour of parking, and RM 0.70 for subsequent hours. If you don't have a RM 0.50 coupon, you can use a RM 0.70 coupon for the first hour of parking. However, it is important to keep in mind that the RM 0.50 coupon is not sufficient for parking beyond the first hour and may result in a penalty.
